Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to May in a well-prepared, lightly firmed seed bed. Scatter seeds thinly on the surface of moist, well-drained soil and gently press them into the ground. Thin seedlings to 15-20 cm apart to ensure ample room for growth.

 

For an earlier start, sow seeds indoors from February to April in trays or modules filled with moist seed compost. Keep at a temperature of 18-20°C, ensuring a steady level of moisture for germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them to their final position outdoors after hardening off.
