This fragrant flowering shrub has long honey scented flowers in mauve, pink and white that bloom during summer. 

 

They are extremely nectar rich and very attractive to butterflies and other beneficial insects.

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

 

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed in postion for flowering the following year.
