This low growing colourful perennial has a green spoon shaped leaves with bright red daisy flowers with a yellow eye sometimes fully double ideal for bedding and container displays in early spring. 

 

Great for attracting wildlife into the garden.

Sow May - July 

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral 

Sow between May - July on a warm window sill into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

 

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays to grow on. 

 

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out where they are to flower the following spring.
