This globe variety produces high yeilds of deep red roots with a lovely smooth skin and excellent flavour. 

 

They can be harvested young for baby beets or left to mature.

Sow into well raked prepared fertile soil from April the drills should be around 2.5cm deep and well watered, sow the seed thinly each drill should be around 12 cm apart. Thin out the seedlings to 10cm when they emerge to grow on.

 

Keep the plants well watered in warm weather.

Regular sowing will ensure a continuous supply of crops.
