Bean Bush Purple Teepee ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low-growing bush bean produces excellent yields of purple long straight stringless pods between 12 - 15cm long.

They grow on top of leafy foliage for easy picking.

A good disease resistant variety.

Seed Qty 50 gram

☀️Sow April - June

☀️Germination 7 - 14 days

☀️Loam - sandy soil that is alkaline or neutral

☀️Harvest July - September

☀️Companion plants Carrots, beetroot, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, and cucumber

☀️Harvest when the pods are around 12cm long

☀️A good source of vitamin c and fibre

☀️Steam lightly boil or use in salads, suitable for home freezing

Sow into pots or trays on a sunny window sill or in a greenhouse during April covering the seed with 25mm of compost plant out after all chance of frost has passed 30cm apart.

Alternatively sow direct outside into warm soil 50cm deep and 30cm apart after the risk of frost has passed.

Regular sowing will ensure a continuous supply of beans throughout the summer.
