Aster Paeony Flowered Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This magnificent looking annual has large rounded double peony like flowers up to 12cm across in a range of soft colours.

They are an eye catching border plant and make an excellent cut flower for around the home.

Ideal in Beds, borders, cottage and wildlife containers and flower arranging

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow March - May in a propagator or on a warm window sill between 18 - 21 degrees onto moist compost cover the seed with 3mm of sieved compost.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into trays 5cm apart or individual pots to grow on.

Harden off the plants before planting out after the risk of frost has passed planting out.

Sow direct outdoors from April - May into warm moist finley raked soil thin the seedlings to 40cm apart.
