Aster Duchess Mix Seeds

Aster Duchess Mix (Callistephus chinensis) is a striking blend of tall, elegant asters with large, chrysanthemum-like blooms in shades of pink, purple, red, violet, and white.

Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors: Sow seeds in trays or pots of fine seed compost from February to April. Lightly cover with compost, water gently, and maintain a temperature of 18–20°C. Transplant seedlings into individual pots once large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out after the last frost, spacing 30 cm apart.

 

Outdoors: Sow directly into prepared soil after the last frost in April–May. Thin seedlings to 25–30 cm spacing. Water well and remove faded flowers to encourage prolonged blooming.
