This colourful annual stands on strong well-branched stems with small double two tone white edged flowers in shades of deep pink and purple during summer.

 

They will provide a long lasting show of colour in garden borders and container displays during summer.

Sow between March - May in a propagator or on a warm window sill at 18 - 21 degrees onto moist compost cover the seed with 3mm of sieved compost. Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into trays or individual pots.

 

Harden off the plants before planting out after the risk of frost has passed planting 30 - 38cm apart. 

 

Sow direct outdoors between April - May into warm moist finely raked soil thin the seedlings to 30 - 38cm apart.
