This eye catching aster has delightful bi coloured pom pom flowers with white edged deep pink flowers that stand on well branched stems.

 

A lovely annual summer flower providing a long lasting colour in garden borders and container displays.

Sow between March - May in a propagator or on a warm window sill at 18 - 21 degrees onto moist compost cover the seed with 3mm of sieved compost. Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into trays or individual pots.

 

Harden off the plants before planting out after the risk of frost has passed planting 30 - 38cm apart. 

 

Sow direct outdoors between April - May into warm moist finely raked soil thin the seedlings to 30 - 38cm apart.
