Allium Cernuum Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow clump forming perennial has dark green strappy foliage with strong sturdy stems that carry umbels of delicate pink flowers.

They will develop into bulbs.

Grow towards the front of a mixed borders and cottage garden schemes.

All soil types, acidic, alkaline or neutral

Germination time 7 - 14 days.

Cut back when the foliage has died back

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their flowering position after all risk of frost has passed.

Planting 30cm apart.
