A dense evergreen shrub with dark green virtually spineless leaves, this is a self fertile variety so there is no need for a male partner insignificant small white flowers bloom in summer followed by large red berries in autumn.

Situation Full sun - partial shade. This plant will grow on a sheltered or exposed site.
 
Soil Moist well drained normal, chalk, clay or sandy soil that's acidic, neutral or alkaline

Plant care Trim in late spring removing any dead or damaged branches.
